Obituary of Mary F. Thomas

Mary F. (Sifer) Thomas, age 88, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2016 with her loving son and daughter-in-law at her side at Manor Care of Allentown. Mary was born on November 24, 1927, the daughter of the late William and Frances (Nice) Sifer. Mary was born and raised in North Philadelphia, and later lived in Lansdale and Flourtown. She loved to travel with her late husband Frank, especially with the Notre Dame Club. Mary enjoyed family vacations in Wildwood for over 50 years. Mary also enjoyed shopping and was a true "Shopaholic". Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Thomas. Survivors include her son, Bill Thomas and his wife Nancy Jernigan of Pottstown; brother, Bill Sifer; sister, Joan McCalister; three grandchildren, Kristine ( & Robert ), Craig ( & Shannon ), and Jennifer ( & Kevin) Kenny; eight great grandchildren, Julia, Dylan, Brendan, Joey, Christian, Jason, Justin and Max. And many nieces and nephews In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Hazel. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 7:00 PM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private at a later date in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
