William J. Dewees, 89, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away on Tuesday January 3, 2017. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 11, 1927. William has lived in Plymouth Meeting, Pa for over 50 years, formerly of Cedar Heights and Manayunk where he was born and raised. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, completing cross word puzzles, watching sports especially The Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Son of the Late Herbert & Julia (MacNamara) Dewees. Beloved husband of the Late Alice (Watson) Dewees. Survivors include his Son: Robert (& Darlene Perrone) Dewees Plymouth Meeting PA Daughter: Bonnie Light Lansdale PA Daughter: Connie Brakeman Plymouth Meeting PA Also survived by a Grandson Chaz Dewees Plymouth Meeting, Pa Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Debbie Lynn Dewees and his siblings Thomas, Francis & Marie Dewees Service & Interment Will Be Private.
