Obituary of Eleanor O'Hara

Eleanor (Smull) O'Hara, 80, passed away suddenly at her home in East Norriton on Tuesday February 21, 2017. She was born in Easton, PA on May 17, 1936. Ellie has lived in East Norriton for over 45 years. She was a very active member of St. Titus RC Church of East Norriton. Ellie graduated from the former Easton Catholic High School and went on to study Nursing and Anesthesia at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, PA. Ellie worked for many years as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at several local hospitals. In retirement Ellie enjoyed traveling, movies, gardening, activities with New Beginnings and other senior organizations, and spending quality time with friends and family, especially her granddaughter Kelsey. Daughter of the late William & Elizabeth ( Hoy ) Smull. Beloved wife of 50 years with the Late – Francis P. O'Hara, Esq. Survivors include her Son: Patrick J. (& Maureen) O'Hara East Norriton PA And the light of her life her granddaughter Kelsey Eleanor O'Hara Sister of George (& Josie) Smull, Joseph (& Donna) Smull, Louis (& Sally) Smull, Richard Smull, Lois Singley, Margaret (& Ben) DiMarcantonio, and Florence (& Gus) Minardi. Also survived by her sisters In Law Lenora O'Hara, Diane Smull, Eppie Smull, Marcha Smull and numerous nieces & nephews. Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 4 brothers William, Thomas, Robert & John Smull and 3 sisters Elizabeth Brown, Ethel Pignotti, & Lillian Peiffer. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the St. Titus RC Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton, PA 19403. Fr. Leonard A. Lewandowski will be officiating. Friends may call on Monday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the church. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Mausoleum, East Norriton, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: St. Titus RC Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, E. Norriton, PA 19403.
