Francis worked with General Motors, Wilke Buick, Harleysville Insurance and after retiring he worked with Wissahickon School District.

Francis J. O'Connor, 89, of Lansdale, PA passed away on Monday May 8, 2017. He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on June 7, 1927. Francis has been living in Lansdale, Pa for the last 5 years, formerly of East Norriton, PA. He was a member of St. Paul's RC Church, where he was a longtime usher. He served in the US Navy during World War II, where he received the American Area Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. Francis worked with General Motors, Wilke Buick, Harleysville Insurance and after retiring he worked with Wissahickon School District. Son of the late John P. & Ann V. (Morley) O'Connor. Beloved husband of the late Barbara S. (Plattenburg) O'Connor. Survivors include his Daughter: Janet (& Joseph) Engro Audubon PA Son: John (& Joan) O'Connor East Norriton PA Son: Gary (& Joan) O'Connor East Norriton PA Daughter: Sharon (& David) Kobe North Wales PA Also survived by 9 Grandchildren: Jason (&Lauren) Engro, Kelly (& Rob) Leo, Bryan Kobe, Jennifer Kobe, Marybeth O'Connor, Cathryn O'Connor, Julie O'Connor, Krystine O'Connor & Sean O'Connor. Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother Jack O'Connor, and 2 sisters Mary Delaney, & Kathleen Williams. His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the St. Paul RC Church 2007 New Hope Street, Norristown, PA 19401. Fr. Harry E. McCreedy will be officiating. Friends may call on Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401. Interment will take place in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: Wounded Warrior Project, 301 Grant Street, Suite 900, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
