Kevin Sheppard, 60, of Hatfield, PA passed away on November 5, 2017. He was born in Norristown, PA on September 23, 1957, the son of the late Paul K. and Doris B. (Beaver) Sheppard. Kevin has been living in Hatfield for five years, formerly of Havertown and Plymouth Meeting, PA, where he was a member of Cold Point Baptist Church. He worked as a Carpenter. Kevin was an avid Penn State fan and participated in bike rides benefitting the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Survivors include his son, Justin ( & Beth) Sheppard of Havertown, PA; daughter, Kathleen Sheppard of Havertown, PA; former wife, Joan Sheppard of Havertown, PA; sister, Deborah A. (& the late William F.) Turnau of Michigan; brother, Paul J. "Butch" ( & Patricia) Sheppard of Chester Springs, PA; sister, Jill (& Edward) Carr of The Villages, FL; sister, Robin L. (& Timothy) Rhodes of Vestal, NY; sister, Bonnie (& Arnold) Koehler of Royersford; sister, Brenda (& the late David) Van Zandt of Norristown, PA; sister, Susan Taylor of Doylestown, PA; companion, Gloria (Cookie) Rivenburg of Hatfield, PA.; as well as a granddaughter, Morgan Elise Sheppard. Along with his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Sheppard. His Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 12:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:30 from the Cold Point Baptist Church, 5063 Militia Hill Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. The Rev. Robert B. Ettinger will officiate. Interment will be private.
