Born in Conshohocken, Pa on November 29, 1919 daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Dugan) Lare. Margaret remained in Conshohocken and lived on the same street her entire life. She was a life long member of St. Matthew's RC Church in Conshohocken. Margaret was employed by Walker Brother and was homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of SAAC and the Golden Ages.

Obituary of Margaret R. Donovan

Margaret R. Donovan, 94, a lifelong Conshohocken resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Meadowood Nursing Center in Worcester Twp., surrounded by her loving family. Born in Conshohocken, PA on November 29, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Dugan) Lare. Margaret remained in Conshohocken and lived on the same street her entire life. She was a lifelong member of St. Matthew's RC Church in Conshohocken. Margaret was employed by Walker Brother and was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of SAAC and the Golden Ages. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas E. Donovan. Surviving are 4 daughters, Carolyn (Lenno) Jeanquart, Abington, Pa.; Doris (Robert) Whitman, Collegeville, Pa.; Maureen (Donald) Cressman, Spring Mount, Pa.; and Denise (Kenneth) Hritz, Phoenixville, Pa.; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by grandson, Jeremy S. Leonard and brothers, Charles, Daniel, Dennis and James Lare. A Funeral Mass for Margaret will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Matthews RC Church, Third Avenue and Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Father J. Thomas Heron will be officiating. Friends may call on Monday morning from 8:30 - 9:30 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette, Conshohocken, PA. Interment will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions in Margaret's name be made to: The National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Blvd, Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034.
