Obituary of Harry S. DiGiovanni

Harry S. DiGiovanni, 76, of Jeffersonville, Pa., passed away on Saturday December 6, 2014 at Einstein Montgomery Medical Center in East Norriton, Pa. Harry was born in Sciacca, Sicily, on April 20, 1938, to the late Paul and Anna (Taormina) DiGiovanni.Harry moved to America at age 11. Formerly of Collegeville and the Roberts Park section of Norristown, Pa., he had been living in Jeffersonville for the last three years. He was a member of St. Eleanor's RC Church of Collegeville, Pa. He served in the U.S. National Guard and worked with Stroehmann Bakery for more than 30 years. Harry was a member of the Montgomery County String Band. Survivors include his wife, Judith (O'Donnell) DiGiovanni; three daughters, Donna (and Patti McMullen) DiGiovanni of Sea Isle City, N.J., Lisa (and Matt) Indelicato of Collegeville, Pa., Anne (and Ryan) Holdsworth of East Norriton, Pa.; sister, Margaret Taormina of West Norriton, Pa., and four grandchildren, Daniella, Matthew, Payton and Avery. His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 10:30 AM from the St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, Pa. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:15 AM at the Church. Interment will take place at Limerick Garden of Memories in Limerick, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made in Harry's memory to: Parkinson Council, Greater Delaware Valley Region, 111 Presidential Blvd. Suite 250, Bala Cynwyd, Pa. 19004.
