Rose Marie A. Boccella of Rosemont, PA passed away on August 22, 2015 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. She was 74 years old. Born in Philadelphia on February 9, 1941 and was the daughter of the late John and Lucia (Canale) Boccella. Rose Marie was a resident of Rosemont since 1979 and formerly of Conshohocken. She was a 1960 graduate of the former Conshohocken High School and was a member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church. Retiring in 1987, Rose Marie worked as a statistical typist for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother; John Armond Boccella, and her sister; Elaine Piatelli. She is survived by her 4 nieces; Lou Ann DiCicco, Bernadette Wallace, Lynn Marie Kulak, and Bridget Kelly, her 2 nephews; John Boccella and John Piatelli. Also survived by 2 great nieces, 4 great nephews, and her sister-in-law; Anna Boccella. Relatives and friends invited to her visitation Thursday August 27, 2015 10:00 – 10:45 AM followed by Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at SS. Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church, 209 West 5th Avenue, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.
