Obituary of Glenn Allen Dempsey

Glenn Allen Dempsey, 59, of Bechtelsville, passed away on August 11, 2016. He was born in Conshohocken, PA on November 24, 1956 to the late Robert J. Dempsey, Sr. and Hannah E. (Holland) LaPella. Survivors include his sister, Donna (& Richard) Rudolph; step brother, Thomas E. LaPella; former sister in law, Shirley LaPella; nieces and nephews, Jared, Victoria, Stephanie (& Tom), Stephen (& Heather), Joshua, Arwyn, Hailee, Emily, and Sevryn; several Dempsey and Holland cousins; longtime companion and love of his life, Debbie Parkins; Glenn is also survived by Debbie's children, Matt (& Johnna Martinez) Olson and Lauren Olson, and her grandchildren, Giavanna, Alona, Mylia, and Abram. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his brother, Robert James "Jay" Dempsey Jr., and step father, Thomas O. LaPella. His Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30AM at the Funeral Home. **Jeans, Tee Shirt and Boots Attire is requested by the family** A celebration of Glenn's life will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 for family and friends (children welcome). Details will be available at the Memorial Service and through the family. Interment will be private at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, West Norriton.
