Dennis J. Lacy, Sr., age 67, of Schwenksville, PA passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his son’s home in Royersford, PA.
Dennis was born in Phoenixville, PA on September 4, 1953, the son of the late Kenneth and Anna (Stehman) Lacy.
Dennis has been living in Schwenksville since 1976. He worked at Uniform Tube in Collegeville, PA, and then as a self-employed contractor. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and gardening. Dennis cultivated his garden and shared his harvest with everyone. Dennis was generous and giving of his time and talents to help others. Dennis was quiet, but had a great sense of humor.
He was the beloved husband of the late Rosalie (Rossi) Lacy, who passed on January 10, 2021. Rosalie was the love of Dennis’ life, and it is fitting that they were reunited in heaven on Valentine’s Day.
Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Lacy of Schwenksville; son, Denny Lacy, Jr. (& Jennifer Lovett) of Royersford; sister, Carol (the late Thomas) Sugalski of Douglassville; sister, Barbara Griffiths of Pottstown; brother, Kenneth (& Jean) Lacy of Ocala, FL; sister, Deborah (the late Lee) Levesque of Douglassville; and mother in-law, Hattie Rossi of Schwenksville. Dennis is also survived by five grandchildren, Samantha, Anthony, Gianna, Joey and Leah, as well as many adoring nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition, Dennis is survived by his “brothers and sisters in-law” who loved him dearly; Diane & Charles Steinberger, Michael and Pamela Rubeo, Michele and Douglas Rumberger, and Ronald and Rachel Rossi.
Services and interment will be held privately at this time.
