Obituary of John P. Morris

John P. Morris, 51, of Eagleville, Pa., passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on April 30, 1963, he was the son of Nicholas & Effie (Vasiliades) Morris of Havertown, Pa. John has been living in Eagleville, Pa. for over 20 years, and was formerly of Havertown, Pa. where he grew up. He attended St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church of Broomall, Pa. He worked at National Refrigeration in Bensalem, Pa as Director of Engineering. He received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and a Master's Degree in Engineering from Widener University. John was a loving and devoted husband and father, who loved spending time with and taking care of his family. He found joy in the simple things in life such as dining out with his family, learning about the newest technology, watching movies, attending concerts, walking his dog and decorating for the holidays. He is survived by his parents; wife, Pamela J. Morris; daughter, Mandy Morris of Eagleville, Pa.; sister, Sophia (and John) Engelbrecht of Broomall, Pa.; aunts; uncles; cousins; and nieces. His Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, 35 North Malin Road, Broomall, Pa with Rev. Fr. Christ Kontos officiating. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Stree,t Trappe, Pa., and Thursday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Church. He will be interred at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pa.
