Obituary of Loretta E. Monastero

Loretta E. (Branca) Monastero, 73, of Norristown died peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in East Norriton with her family by her side. Loretta was born in Norristown, PA on June 3, 1941 to the late James and Yolanda (DiSipio) Branca. She worked for many years at the Morabito Bakery and most recently was a volunteer at the Montgomery County Learning Center where she was a devoted "grandmom" to many infants and toddlers. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church in Norristown. She was survived by her loving son Murray Monastero of Norristown and her sister Doris Doud of Jacobus, PA. In addition to her husband, Murray S. Monastero, and her parents, James Branca and Yolanda (DiSipio), she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lohni Sue Monastero. Her Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 10:30 AM from the St. Francis Of Assisi RC Church, Marshall St. At Buttonwood Street, Norristown. Clergy: Father Gerner officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM at the Church. Interment will be private.
