Obituary of Charles R. Hicks

Charles R. "Bob" Hicks, Sr., 75, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Mercy Suburban Hospital of East Norriton. Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 8, 1940, Bob has lived in Conshohocken for over 50 years, formerly of Philadelphia where he was born and raised. He worked with the Borough of Conshohocken Authority; before that he worked many years with MetCo Manufacturing of Warrington, PA. He had volunteered as a coach with Conshohocken Little League. Survivors include his Wife: Sandra R. (Miller) Hicks of Conshohocken, PA, Son: Charles "Bob" (& Renee) Hicks of Conshohocken, PA, Brother: Thomas Kicks of Jim Thorpe, PA, Brother: Jack Hicks of Philadelphia, PA, Brother: Butch Hicks of Philadelphia, PA, Brother: Ricky Hicks of Jim Thorpe, PA, Sister: Connie Smith of Lebanon, PA, Sister: Adele Bywaters of Hatfield, PA, Sister: Lorraine Orfield of Gibbstown, NJ and Sister: Eleanor "Bunny" Lyter of Lebanon, PA. Also survived by 4 Grandchildren Jennifer, Charles III, John & Joseph. Along with his parents, Thomas J. Hicks and Lillian (Cole) Hicks, he was preceded in death by a Son Brian S. Hicks, and 2 Sisters Lillian O'Neill & Shirley Riley. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Clergy: The Rev. Richard A. Olson, II officiating. Friends may call on Saturday March 14, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:00AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Valley Forge Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.
