So it may not be proper or often said out loud, but everyone has a favorite Uncle…. You were mine. I always looked forward to seeing you and having our long talks about cars and mechanics. I remember driving your Jaguar together around the streets near your house…. What a blast even if my shoes were too big to maneuver around those pedals, lol. You were a talented man and a great role model. I’m so thankful to have spent time with you over the summer. The kids and I still laugh about “Ribs, bread and ribs” at the grocery store. We will miss you greatly.
Love,
Joe, Emily and Tyler

Mike and Jenny Musgrave posted a condolence

As the four of us sat in our rental car, Harry driving, me in the passenger seat and Jenny and Terry in the back chattering away, we inquired about handicap parking locations and entrance fees at the entrance gate to the Grand Canyon. As the gatekeeper gathered his maps and forms and handed them to Harry, I asked him if the trails and paths were wheelchair accessible. The cheery gatekeeper then took back his forms and maps and admonished Harry and me for not informing him initially that Jenny required a wheelchair for assistance. The agent then gathered a new pile of paperwork and informed Jenny that she was being given a pass allowing her and her companion party to enter the park for free and would be able to drive wherever the tour busses went throughout the park, eliminating the need for excessive hiking and walking to see the various sites. Harry and I looked at each other in amazement. Then Harry turned and looked Jenny in the eyes and in a low, cowboy sort of voice uttered the now infamous quote: “ glad we brung ya”. We would use that quote time and again in our future travels and trips and it became a part of our many stories and memories. We will miss him tremendously Ter and he will forever be in our hearts.

I'm sorry for your loss. Mr and Mrs Spence were always kind and welcoming. It was a lifetime ago that I saw him but will never forget the days of east 11th avenue. I hope you find comfort in the knowledge that you'll see him again someday. Sincerely, Stephanie (Farrell) Price
