Daniel J. Begley, III

Daniel J. Begley, III, 72, of Harleysville, PA passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. 

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa on April 4, 1950, the son of the late Daniel J. and the late Maria (McCarrick) Begley, Jr.   

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Donna Gilman.

Daniel has lived in Harleysville, PA since 1980, formerly of Blue Bell where he grew up.

He was a member of Norriton Fire Engine Co. and TCA (Train Collectors of America).

He was a former long-time employee of Genuardi Family Markets.  He retired from work as a Night Manager with Giant Food Markets in Spring House, Pa.

Survivors include his Life Partner of 29 years Debra "Deb" Croll (nee Heebner) of Harleysville, Son Daniel J. (Krissie) Begley IV of Maple Glen, pa, Son Patrick J. Begley (Natalie Fleischman) of South Philadelphia, PA, Brother William (Diane) Begley of  Eagleville, PA Brother Tom (Amy) Begley Pleasanton, CA.   Dan is also survived by his Brother-in-law Greg Gilman, Godson Andrew Gilman and Granddaughters Makayla & Lexi, along with many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

His Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM from St. Helena RC Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pa.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting Memorial Contributions be in Dan’s  name to St. Helena RC Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
