He was a great teacher and a wonderful man. I saw him in a hospital once when his wife had to get a procedure done. I was waiting for my boyfriend at the time and was afraid to leave the waiting room to get something to eat and he went and got me something so i didn't miss someone calling for me. He was an Amazing Man and will Never forget him.

Reese was a good friend of ours and John taught and also coached at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. We used to go to the shore with Betty and Reese. On Saturdays we would all go to garage sales. Maybe 5 couples. One time we were all leaving and just pulled away and Reese yelled "we don't have Betty!" We went back and Betty was still lost in the crowd. Reese said "I told you she loves garage sales!" So next year he surprises us with whistles. He told Betty when you hear this whistle you better get to the car. Two of the greatest people. Kind and loving. Folks you never forget. - Mary Martin
