Obituary of Stanley T. Grablewski

Stanley Thomas Grablewski died peacefully at home on January 13, 2025.

He was born in Conshohocken, PA on March 25, 1935, the son of the late Walter William Grablewski and Helen Grablewski (née Ferst). 

After high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps and met his wife Catherine.  

He worked as a truck driver for Glasgow of Glenside, PA. He was fun loving, loved music and to dance.  He was an avid sports lover who loved his family immensely.  In his younger years, he enjoyed tinkering around in his garage.  He cheered on all his children and grandchildren throughout their sports years.  

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Catherine Grablewski (nee Gallagher),

six children, Michael Grablewski (the late Helen), Steve Grablewski, Gerry Grablewski (Dianne), Diane Hartman (Chris), Dana Orr (William) and Bill Grablewski (Tanya);

12 grandchildren, Anne, Marc, Michael, Todd, Thomas, Jenni, Danielle, Dara, Will,
Madeline , Ryan and Deb;

and seven great-grandchildren, Luke, Jason, Alura, Ellia, Hadley, Otto, Maya.

 

He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.  

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Sheehan; and brothers, William Grabeck and Joseph Grable.

 

His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM from St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, 601 Buttonwood Street, Norristown, PA 19401.  Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church.

 

Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
