Obituary of Joanne M. Mascio

Joanne M. (Gersbach) Mascio, 81, of Conshohocken, Pa passed away on Friday October 14, 2016 . She was born in Allentown, PA on July 8, 1935. Joanne lived most of her life in Conshohocken, Pa. She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa. Graduate of Gwynedd Mercy Academy, Class of 1953. She enjoyed reading, playing piano and singing, traveling. The thing she enjoyed most was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Joseph & Phyllis ( LeRoux ) Gersbach. Beloved wife of the Late Mayor William M. Mascio, Sr. Survivors include her Son: William M. (& Ruth) Mascio, Jr. Plymouth Twp. PA Son: Joseph A. Mascio Conshohocken PA Son: Roy (& Connie) Mascio Ebensburg PA Son: Philip A. (& Bethanne) Mascio Worcester, PA Son: Charles A. (& Alice) Mascio Conshohocken PA Daughter: Melissa (& Roger) Primus Lafayette Hill PA Daughter: Laurie (& John) Walski Conshohocken PA Daughter: Joanne Smith Bridgeport PA Sister: Bonnie Gordon Atlanta GA Also survived by 24 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren And her Life Long Friend Leona Flood of Lower Gwynedd, Pa Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Bonnie Germaine Mascio, A son Jack Mascio and a Brother Germain Gersbach. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM from the St. Matthew's RC Church, Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken, Pa 19428 Fr. J. Thomas Heron will be officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428. Interment will take place in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Gwynedd Mercy Academy Legacy Scholarship Fund, 1345 Sumneytown Pike, Ambler, Pa 19002.
