Obituary of Doris A. Ciccarone

Doris Mae ( Allen ) Ciccarone, 91, of Jeffersonville, Pa passed away on Sunday November 6, 2016. She was born on November 26, 1924 in Montgomery Hospital, Norristown, Pa to the Late Monroe R. & Lillian M. ( Renner ) Allen. Doris has been living in Jeffersonville, Pa for over 50 years, formerly of Bridgeport, Pa. She was employed by the Reading Railroad after serving 28 years in the Disbursements Department at the former Reading Railroad Terminal which is now the Philadelphia Convention Center. She was a graduate of the former Bridgeport High School. Also a graduate of Pennsylvania Bible College. She enjoyed the church choir and Reading Co. Choral Society. She was an active member in the St. George's Association of the Reading Railroad. During World War II she served many hours with the Junior Red Cross and the USO Volunteer Corps. She was very active in her church work and taught in junior church. She had a great love for all kinds of handwork and sewing. Also, her big interests were writing, reading and music. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph A. Ciccarone. Survivors include her Nephew: Robert Ciccarone Jeffersonville, PA Nephew: Louis Ciccarone FL Niece: Susan DiGiandomenico FL She was predeceased by a brother Monroe Allen, Jr. Her Graveside Service & Interment will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the St. Patrick's Cemetery, 2400 DeKalb Pike, East Norriton, Pa 19401. Doris has been living in Jeffersonville, Pa for over 50 years, formerly of Bridgeport, Pa She was retired from Reading Railroad
