Obituary of Raymond Compton

Raymond Compton, 93, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away on Wednesday December 14, 2016. He was born in Moro, Arkansas on December 26, 1922. He served in the US Navy and fought in two major battles during World War II. He worked as a tire builder with the B.F. Goodrich of Oaks, PA, for 33 years before retiring in 1977. Raymond enjoyed shooting, hunting, and gardening. Son of the late Charles & Elizabeth (Triplett) Compton. Survivors include his Beloved Wife of 71 years, Sophie (Firuta) ComptonPlymouth Meeting PA, Daughter: Carol Falicki, Daughter: Claudia Compton; Also survived by his 9 grandchildren: Christina Falicki, Natalie Gagliano, Laura Magliane, James Falicki, Jr., Katie Edwards, Jamie Compton, Raymond Compton, Jr., Phil Nigro, & Brenda Kane. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Raymond Compton.
