Obituary of Bernice C. Neidig
Bernice C. Neidig, 91, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on February 4, 2017.
She was born in Allentown, PA on December 9, 1925, the daughter of the late John Farnschlader and Frances Zartler.
Bernice has been living in Blue Bell for 3 years, formerly of Allentown where she lived most of her life. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church of Allentown. Bernice had a long career at the Morning Call as a financial secretary. She loved going to the casinos, playing bingo, and game nights with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed as a loving wife and grandmother to her family.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 68 years, Howard Neidig of Blue Bell;
and three grandchildren, Sherry (& Alfred) Stufflet, Howard (& Michelle) Neidig, and Tara (& Yohl) Howe.
She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, Kevin, David, Jessica, Derek, Remi, Logan, and Aden.
Along with her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by her son, John Neidig, as well as her sister, Marie, and brother, John.
Her Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, 1046 W. Cedar Street, Allentown, PA 18102, where a visitation will be held from 9:15 to 9:45 AM prior to the Mass.
Relatives and friends are also invited to her viewing on Wednesday evening, February 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.
Interment will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Allentown, PA.
