Tom, better known as "Wheels", has been living in Audubon since 1972, formerly of Norristown where he was born and raised. He was active at the Church of the Savior in Wayne, PA. Tom held a long career as the Director of Facilities at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He also coached baseball for the Audubon Recreation Association and played in the Norristown Slow Pitch Softball League.

Obituary of Thomas F. Cresswell

Thomas F. Cresswell, age 67, of Audubon, PA passed away suddenly on July 29, 2017. He was born in Norristown, PA on January 6, 1950, the son of the late John and Eleanor (Fontaine) Cresswell. Tom, sometimes known as "Wheels", has been living in Audubon since 1972, formerly of Norristown where he was born and raised. He was active at the Church of the Savior in Wayne, PA. Tom held a long career as the Director of Facilities at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He also coached baseball, basketball and football for the Audubon Recreation Association and played in the Norristown Slow Pitch Softball League. Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn C. (Sweeny) Cresswell of Audubon; son, Thomas ( & Kimberly) Cresswell of Schwenksville; sister, Sissy ( & Butch) Durante of Somers Point, NJ; three brothers, John (& Vickie) Cresswell of Lansdale, Bob ( & Mary) Cresswell of Limerick, and Jim ( & Gwen) Cresswell of Phoenixville. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Hannah & Grace Cresswell. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the Church of the Savior, 651 N. Wayne Ave., Wayne, PA 19087. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM at the church. Interment will take place in Limerick Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions made to Church of the Savior at the above address or the Salvation Army, Conshohocken Branch, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428.
