Obituary of Fred Zindell
Fred Zindell, 66, of Southampton, PA passed away suddenly on August 19, 2017.
He was born in Philadelphia on November 15, 1950, the son of the late Doris (Miller) and Edward Zindell.
Fred has been living in Southampton for 21 years, formerly of the Olney section of Philadelphia. He was a member of Saint Vincent de Paul Church of Richboro.
Fred was a graduate of North Catholic High School Class of 1968 and went on to honorably serve in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He retired from the Philadelphia Police Department as a Lieutenant with 27 years of service.
He retired as a Fraud Investigator with Firstrust Bank with 10 years of service.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Ann Marie (Urban) Zindell of Southampton;
son, Michael Zindell ( & Michael Lawrence) of Salem, MA;
daughter, Amy ( & Mark) Coddington of Hilltown, PA;
two sisters, Kathleen ( & Barron) Buckley and Joyce ( & Bruce) Altieri;
two brothers, Edward ( & Diane) Zindell and Robert ( & Michele) Zindell;
three grandchildren, Isabella, Maxwell, and Nickolas Coddington;
as well as nieces and nephews.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:30 AM, at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954.
Friends may call on Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at the Church.
Interment will take place in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be may be made to benefit Fred's grandchildren's school: Saint Jude School, 323 W Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914.
