Obituary of Joy MacCarty

Joy Deborah MacCarty, 66, of East Norriton, PA passed away on Friday January 19, 2018 in her home surrounded by friends and family. She was born in Conshohocken, PA on October 24, 1951. Joy graduated from Norristown High School, Shippensburg College, and received her Master's Degree in Reading from Beaver College ( Arcadia University). She was a Reading Specialist at Gotwals Elementary School for 36 years, retiring in 2010. She excelled at art, loved to travel and entertain her huge network of friends at numerous parties at her home. Joy will be remembered as someone who made every person she met feel special. Daughter of Joyce A. ( Moore ) & Robert Reese. Survivors include her Brother: Robert (& Val) Reese Boyertown PA Brother: Scott (& Lisa) Reese Honesdale PA Also survived by a niece Trina and 4 nephews Bobby, Jake, Torre & Tyler. Her Service & Interment Will Be Private.
