Joe worked with Peco at Plymouth Meeting, Pa. He was a Life Member with Swedeland Fire Co, where he served in many positions including Past President and Past Fire Chief.

Joseph E. O'Donnell, 90, of Wayne, PA passed away on Thursday May 24, 2018. He was born in Conshohocken, PA on August 29, 1927. Joseph has lived in Wayne, PA, formerly of Swedeland, PA, West Conshohocken and Conshohocken, where he was born and raised. He was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church of Wayne, PA. Graduate of St. Matthew's High School, class of 1945. He served in the US Navy during World War II, where he received the American Area Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. Joe worked with PECO in Plymouth Meeting, PA. He was a Life Member with Swedeland Fire Co, where he served in many positions including Past President and Past Fire Chief. Son of the Late Hugh C. & Catherine (O'Connor) O'Donnell. Beloved husband of the Late Mary Jane (Shaffer) O'Donnell. Survivors include his Daughter: Cathy (& Ted) Caniglia King Of Prussia PA Son: Joe O'Donnell Swedeland PA Daughter: Diane (& Rick) Moulton Conshohocken PA Son: Dennis (& Joann) O'Donnell Jeffersonville PA Daughter: Jayne (& Royce) Keehn Swedeland PA Son: Terence (& Denise) O'Donnell Hatfield Twp. PA Also survived by 12 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren and special friend Anne DiDomenico. Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son David O'Donnell, a brother Hugh O'Donnell, a grandson Albert Keehn and 2 great grandchildren Matthew O'Donnell and Trinity Griffith. His Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM from the St Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 50 West Walker Road, Wayne, PA 19087. Friends may call on Tuesday Evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428 and Wednesday Morning from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Church. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA. Joseph has lived in Wayne, Pa, formerly of Swedeland, Pa and West Conshohocken and Conshohocken where he was born and raised.
