Obituary of Anna Zielinski

TIMES HERALD Anna Zielinski, "Ann", 89, of Norristown, PA passed away on August 1, 2018. She was born in Norristown, PA on March 26, 1929, a daughter of Salvatore and Julia (Signorovitch) DePetrillo. Ann was a lifelong resident of Norristown and a devout parishioner of Saint Francis of Assisi RC Church. Ann played basketball in her teens. She remained active working out at her gym as a member of the "Silver Sneakers Club" until the time of her passing. Ann also enjoyed soap operas and reading magazines. She had a strong work ethic and retired at age 85. Above all, she was devoted to her family. Ann was the beloved wife of the late Valentine S. "Shorty" Zielinski. Survivors include her four daughters, Barbara Cirafesi – Zielinski of Collegeville, Carolyn Kelly ( & Wayne Dziedzic) of Lansdale, Mary Ann (& Kenneth) Harrison of Plymouth Meeting, and Frances Zielinski – Bonjo of West Chester; two sisters, Dolores Claypoole and Sonia DeBiase; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. Along with her husband and parents, Ann was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM from St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, Marshall St. at Buttonwood St., Norristown, PA 19401. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton.
