Bob was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Pa He was a member of Immacuate Heart of Mary RC Church of Andorra section of Philadelphia. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, where he served in the Military Police, and received the Bronze Star Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. After the war he worked as a Philadelphia Police Officer for 35 years at the 14th District, US Marshal task force in Philadelphia.
