Obituary of Dorothy Valentine

Dorothy Valentine of Hatfield, Pa., passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Grandview Hospital in Sellersville, Pa. She was 68. Born in Norristown, Pa., on February 23, 1945, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna (Burnheeter) Kenworthy. She lived most of her life in Conshohocken, and she resided in Hatfield for the past six years. She was the loving wife of the late Richard J. Valentine, who passed away in 1995. Dorothy was a retired electronics assembly technician, and she previously worked with Western Electric, AT&T, Athena Controls, Lockheed Martin and Ericsson. She enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing at the beach. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Kim (Keith) Gorman of Hatfield; her son, Richard (Kimberly) Valentine of Exton, Pa.; her grandchildren, Brendan, Sean and Samantha; her sister, Peggy Bartley of Lansdale, Pa.; two nephews, Brian Bartley of Philadelphia, Pa., and Chad Bartley of Los Angeles, Calif.; and her sister-in-law, Herminia Kenworthy of San Diego, Calif. A graveside service for Dorothy will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 11 A.M. at St Matthew's Catholic Cemetery, Butler Pike and North Lane in Conshohocken, Pa. Pastor Joe MacDonald of Calvary Chapel will officiate.
