Obituary of Gerald F. Hamaday

Gerald F. Hamaday, Sr., age 69 of Wayne, PA, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Mercy Suburban Hospital of East Norriton. Husband of the late Pamela (Swartz) Hamaday who died July 5, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 19, 1943, son of the late Lottie (Cios) and John Hamaday. Gerald has been living in Wayne, Pa since 1988, formerly of Bridgeport, Pa & Conshohocken. He worked as a Purchasing Agent in the clothing industry for 28 years, most recent with Gordon of Philadelphia, since 1991 he has been working with Brite Star. He is survived by his sons, Gerald F. (& Anne) Hamaday, Jr. of Conshohocken, and Eric (& Lori) Hamaday of Royersford; step daughter, Christine Long of Pottstown. Also survived by 6 grandchildren John, Peter, Mollie, Shawn, Caleb & Gabriel. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Fr. John Blaise Hamaday, and a sister Kathy Stoddard. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 7:30 P.M. from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Friends may call Friday from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be on Saturday, September 27, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Rest Haven Cemetery, 300 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
