My thoughts and prayers go out to the Beatty family. I had the pleasure to coach baseball with Bill this past spring at UPLL and coached agianst him throughout the years. He was the most fair and genuinley nice guys. He always seemed to really care about all the kids he coached and wanted to give them all an equal opportunity reagrdless of their ability. I was glad he got to see his son Jack hit that home run in the championship game this year. His son Jack is the nicest kid and respectful and I know that is a direct reflection on the father Bill was. He will be missed.
A great guy, wonderful father and husband. He will be missed. I enjoyed having the privilege of knowing him.
