Additional Obit Info
Owner of Ken Bernstiel Auto Body and Restoration in Phoenixville since 2003, and he also worked with PennDot since 2003
Kenney loved throwing the ball around and fishing with his sons. He also enjoyed making apple pies with his daughter. He loved to golf allbeit he wasn't very good and he would be the first to tell you he just wanted to have fun. Nothing was evere abou winning or losing, it was about just having fun. He was such a proud dad watching his son Cole play ice hockey from a little boy all the way to college. Kenney recently found a new love in kayaking. Kenney and Chas would take any oppertunity they could find to go to the river and kayak upstream!
Kenney was an avid Flyers and Phillies fan. Every weekend you could find Kenney enjoying a game or two or three with his friends and neighbors.
Kenney's heart broke years ago but he took every day in stride and made the best of every day. You could always count on a smile and that laugh even in the worst of times.
Kenney made friends wherever he went. His personality and carefree attitude made him one of those guys you couldn't help but like. Everyone called Ken, the guy at the body shop, friend.

I will surely miss Ken. Since my parents' passings Ken held down the home grounds for me and was my first stop on arriving for visits in Pennsylvania. I'm very sorry I couldn't make it there in time today to say goodbye. I very much appeciate the care that Ken, Amy and Cole gave to my parents in their later days. Amy should apply for sainthood!
Ken was a great friend who I always looked forward to seeing (and yes... drinking with). He was just asking me about two weeks ago when I'd be back. Should have come quicker, I guess.
Amy and Cole... hang in there and let me know what I can do. My thoughts are with you.
