Obituary of Mary Clare Brodsky

Mary Clare Brodsky, "Jackie", age 81, of Ambler, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2019.

She was born in Philadelphia, on July 9, 1937, a daughter of the late Carl and Clare (Lesher) Wynn.

Mary Clare has been living in Ambler for the last 46 years, formerly of Roxborough.  She was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church in Ambler.  Mary Clare enjoyed pet sitting, crafts including making family albums, and playing Scrabble with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.  Mary Clare also volunteered her time at local hospitals and animal shelters.    

She was the beloved wife of the late Jack I. Brodsky.  

Survivors include her four children, Sandy Lagan (Fred Kelly) of Ambler, Sharon (Dennis) Templeton of Pottstown, Mike (Linda) Brodsky of Abington and Staci (Harry) Klotsas of Philadelphia.  She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Jared Templeton, James Lagan III, Kacie Desjean, Cory Brodsky, Shannon Lagan, Aaron Brodsky, Brandi Klotsas, Danielle Brodsky, William Klotsas and Nicole Klotsas; as well as a great grandson, James Lagan IV, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. 

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia Griffith, Barbara Ambs, and baby brother Carl, who died at infancy.  

Her Memorial Mass at will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at St. Joseph RC Church, 16 S. Spring Garden St., Ambler, PA 19002.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Church.
