Obituary of Thomas M. McDonald

Thomas M. McDonald, 78, of Collegeville, PA passed away peacefully on  Sunday, June 2, 2019 at his home.

He was born in New York, NY on April 28, 1941, a son of the late John and Marie (Clarkson) McDonald.

Tom has been living in Traditions at Skippack for three years.  He had formerly lived in Key West, FL, Cape May, NJ, and Phoenixville, PA.  

Tom was a member of Saint Eleanor RC Church of Collegeville.  Tom worked as a Chemical Engineer for various companies before opening a Bed and Breakfast in Cape May, NJ with his wife Nancy.  He was an avid bike rider and tennis player.  

Survivors include his beloved wife of 34 years, Nancy J. (Dotts) McDonald of Collegeville;  two daughters, Erin McDonald of Denver, CO and Heather McDonald of Vail, CO; brother, Br. John McDonald, C.F.X., two sisters, Patricia Wargocki and Mary Jo Patrucco; as well as one grandson, Kellan Dellaporta.  

Along with his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Webers.  

Tom's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10:30 AM from St. Eleanor RC Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426.  Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.  

Interment will be private at a later date.
