Obituary of Robert L. Lund, Sr.

Robert L. Lund, Sr., 88, of Skippack, PA passed away on December 14, 2015. He was born in Rock Island, ILL on March 17, 1927. Robert has lived in Skippack since 1990, formerly of Philadelphia, Pa. He was a member of St. Eleanor's RC Church of Collegeville, Pa. He served in the US Navy during World War, II and the Korean War. Robert worked as a Traffic Manager with Container Corporation of America. Bob joined Skippack Fire Co. in 1991, he was currently a Life Member and Trustee of the Fire Company, he had formerly served with Skippack Fire Police, and as hall rental officer. While with the fire company he was Awarded the President's Award in 1995 and Awarded the Lifetime Recognition Award in 2003. Son of the Late Frederick L. & Bernice ( Thompson ) Lund Survivors include his Wife: Catherine (Walsh) Lund Skippack PA Daughter: Signe Lund Wilmington NC Son: Robert (& Mary) Lund Berwyn PA Son: John (& Yolande) Lund Bel Air Bel Air CA Daughter: Susan (& Michael) Matusheski East Norriton PA Also Survived By 8 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10:30 AM from the St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, Pa 19426. Friends may call on Saturday Morning from 9:00 to 10:15 AM at the Church. Interment will be private.
