Obituary of Felix A. Campos
Felix A. Campos, Jr., 85, of Schwenksville, PA passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019.
He was born in Malvern, PA on May 18, 1934, the son of the late Felix A. Campos, Sr. and the late Anna (Bianchi) Campos.
Felix has been living in Schwenksville, PA for 42 years, formerly of Norristown, PA. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and attended New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church.
In his youth, Felix was a member of the Bridgeport Weightlifting Club and was State Champion in Weightlifting. He also earned his 2nd Degree Blackbelt in Taekowndo.
Felix was a talented auto mechanic and had a long career as a transmission specialist. After his retirement, he became a private pilot and enjoyed time spent flying his plane. He also loved raising horses and was a member of Appaloosa Horse Club.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, Kathleen M. (Fleagle) Campos of Schwenksville; two daughters, Sharon Campos of Schwenksville and Patti (& Matt) Kemp of Schwenksville; four grandchildren, Mason Kemp, Angelica, Mikela and Brianna Lane; and great granddaughter, Lily Ann Lane.
Along with his parents, Felix was preceded in death by his two sisters, Mary Gala and Hilda Luczkowski.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM from New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2941 Lutheran Road, Gilbertsville, PA 19525.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Thursday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Church.
Interment will take place in Limerick Garden of Memories.
