Obituary of Gregory J. Magee

Gregory J. Magee, age 81, of Collegeville, PA passed away on August 21, 2019. 

He was born in Norristown, PA on September 12, 1937, a son of the late Joseph F. and Alberta L. (Maul) Magee.  Gregory has been living in Collegeville since 1972, formerly of Norristown.  He was a member of St. Eleanor Catholic Church.  He was a graduate of Villanova University and worked in numerous Accounting and Management positions throughout the Delaware Valley.  He loved helping children and volunteered his time for Lower Perkiomen Little League and the Cub Scouts.  Gregory honorably served in the Army National Guard. 

He was the husband of the late Mary Eleanor (Fennell) Magee. 

Survivors include his son, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Gregory J. Magee, Jr.; two daughters, Carolyn Magee Sutton and Sharon Magee; brother, Denis Magee; grandchildren, Hannah and Noah Sutton; and his dearest friend and companion, Dolores Fennell. 

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Magee.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10:00 AM in St. Eleanor RC Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426.  

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Church.  

Interment will be private at a later date in Limerick Garden of Memories.
