Obituary of James R. Sponsler

James R. Sponsler, 82, of Warminster, PA passed away on December 30, 2015. He was born in Williamsport, PA on December 29, 1933. He was the son of the late James M. and Mary (Wolf) Sponsler. He was a Graduate of Haverford High School and Penn State University. He worked in Human Resource's for Cooper, Mercy Philadelphia, Presbyterian and Temple Hospitals. James was a founding member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Plymouth Meeting, Pa. He was predeceased by his first wife Carol (Thompson) Sponsler in 1988. He enjoyed golf and traveling. Survivors include his Wife: Judy (Jonakin) Miller of Warminster PA, Daughter: Leslie (and Mark) Hoke of Glenolden PA, Son: Jim (and Janice) Sponsler of Raleigh NC, Son: of Doug (and Sue) Sponsler of Philadelphia PA, Daughter: of Karen (and Sean) Kooker of Gilbertsville PA, Step Daughter: Elizabeth (and Howard Isenstein) Miller, Step Daughter: Mary (and Bob) Hallahan, Step son: John (and Trish) Miller, Step Daughter: Laura (and Jim) Rose, Step Son: Mark (and Amy Reiter) Miller, Sister: Maryann Hunsicker of Havertown PA, Grandchildren: Heather Duffy, Matthew Hoke, Alicia Rickerby, Loren Kapusnik, Jim Sponsler, Doug Sponsler, Chris Sponsler, Austin Kooker and Kyler Kooker, Nina and Lily Isenstein, Monica Hallahan, Jack and Luke Miller, Jacob and Eliza Rose, Max and Dahlia Miller. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2907 Jolly Road, Plymouth Meeting, Pa 19462. Clergy: Pastor Rachel Anderson officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Church. Interment will take place in West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
