Obituary of Joseph R. Ferrier

Joseph R. Ferrier, Jr., age 62, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020.

He was born in Norristown, PA on July 20, 1957, a son of Joseph Ferrier and the late Elizabeth ( Riley ) Ferrier.

Joseph was a lifelong resident of Conshohocken. He was a self-employed Carpenter and was a skilled Restoration Specialist.  He was also a talented mechanic. He worked for The National Trust for Historic Preservation in Tarrytown, NY at the Lyndhurst estate in the 80's.

He served 4 yrs in the Marines, stationed in Hawaii, where he was a Corporal. He was awarded the 31st Marine Expeditionary Medal and was a life member of the VFW.

Joe had a great smile and sense of humor, and loved music, art, history, the Eagles, wildlife, and his pets, especially his cat Braveheart and all of his many cats over the years.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Karen Ferrier of Conshohocken; father, Joseph Ferrier of Troy, Ohio; and sister, Debbie (Scott) Kuhn of Perkasie, PA; and nephew and nieces, Justin, Michelle and Lisa.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to an animal organization of your choice.
