John M. Travaline  

John M. Travaline, Sr., 87, of Philadelphia, PA passed away Friday, February 7, 2020. 

He was born in Conshohocken, PA on November 7, 1932, the son of the late John F. Travaline and Ann ( Masciantonio ) Travaline.

John has been living in Andorra section of Philadelphia, PA for over 60 years, formerly of Conshohocken, PA.

He attended Conshohocken High School.  Joined the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as a plumber with Local 690, then was the owner and operator of Hopkin's Corner Hardware of Roxborough.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Men of Malvern. 

He was the husband of  63 years Marie D. ( Caruso ) Travaline. 

Survivors include his Wife Marie D. Travaline of Philadelphia, Daughter Dona (& John) Schmidt of Blue Bell, Son John (& Cathy) Travaline of North Wales, Son Michael (& Diane) Travaline of Philadelphia, also survived by a sister in law Barbara Travaline, 12 grandchildren Christa, Michael, Luisa, Regina, John, Nicholas, Catherine, Vincent, Joseph, Megan, Emily & Dona, and 3 great grandchildren Giovanni, Isabelle & Lucia.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Marie (& Domenic) Barnabei & a brother Francis  Travaline.

His Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM from Immaculate Heart Of Mary Church, 819 Cathedral Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128.

Friends may call on Monday Evening, February 10, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428 and on Tuesday Morning, February 11, 2020 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Church. 

Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
