Obituary of Anthony C. Bondi

Anthony C. "Tony" Bondi, age 85, of Conshohocken, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at his daughter's home in West Norriton, PA.

He was born in Norristown, PA on March 6, 1935, the son of the late Charles and Mary (Kowalski) Bondi.

He lived in Norristown and Lafayette Hill, PA before moving to Conshohocken in 1961.  He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church.  

Tony worked as a Foreman for the Markle Corporation and later worked in Public Works for Whitemarsh Township.  He loved the ocean and enjoyed traveling, especially to the Virgin Islands.  He was an artist and also enjoyed gardening.  Tony was an avid Phillies fan and also enjoyed golf.  He was a good cook and will be dearly missed by his family.  

He was the devoted husband of the late Marie C. (Gebhardt) Bondi.  

Survivors include his daughter, Karen Bondi Zinno; and three grandsons, Vincent (& Kelli) Zinno, Anthony Zinno, and Carmen Zinno; as well as nieces and nephews.  

Along with his wife and parents, Tony was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie C. Bondi; sister, Catherine Michels, and brother, Charles Bondi. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.  The Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM in St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.

Interment will take place in Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
