Obituary of Frank A. Masterilli

Frank A. Masterilli, age 94, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021.

He was born in Niles, Ohio on December 24, 1926, the son of the late Joseph and Maria Felice (Jeswald) Masterilli.  His stepfather was Russell Benigno.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, joining after the attack on Pearl Harbor.  He returned to Philadelphia and worked for the United States Postal Service until his retirement.  Frank loved listening to jazz (he grew up playing the saxophone), puttering in his wood-working shop and family time at the Jersey shore.

He was the husband of the late Kathryn Susan (Crawford) Masterilli of Philadelphia.

Frank is survived by four children, Patricia Bindrim and husband Jon, Frank Masterilli, Pamela Masterilli, and Mary Masterilli; and four grandchildren, Jason Masterilli, Kira Bindrim, Jessica (Bindrim) Montgomery and Shawna Powers, as well as several nieces and a nephew.

Along with his wife and parents, Frank was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Smith and Rosalind Wilson; and a son-in-law, Richard Banse.

A family-only visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.  Relatives and friends are invited to the Graveside Service with Military Honors on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 12:30 PM in George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
