Lynn J. Pompa, age 74, of Collegeville, PA passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his home.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 4, 1946, the son of the late Pio and Grace (Morici) Pompa.  Lynn was raised in South Philadelphia and attended St. Rita of Cascia Parish School and Bishop Neumann High School.   Lynn attended Temple University, and his final year, the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences where he completed his Bachelor's Degree.

Lynn has been living in Collegeville for 19 years, and was formerly of the Overbrook Farms section of Philadelphia.  He was a member of the Overbrook Presbyterian Church (OPC) where he served as an Elder.

He worked as a Respiratory Therapist and Supervisor of the Pulmonary Lab for Albert Einstein Medical Center of Philadelphia for over 33 years.

Lynn was an accomplished classical guitarist and co-founder/member of the Progressive Chamber Ensemble.  Lynn played in many venues in the Philadelphia area, with his group and others, and as a soloist - including popular restaurants, local television, The Classical Guitar Society performances, and at OCP church. He has also been featured several times on WRTI 90.1 FM classical radio station in Philadelphia.

He is survived by his wife, Patrice H. (Harris) Pompa of Collegeville; daughter, Jaclyn P. Pompa of Spring City; son, Michael L. Pompa of Collegeville; and two grandsons, Declan Bright and Victor Pompa.

Along with his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen "Bobbie" Puccio.

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM in the Overbrook Presbyterian Church, 6376 City Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19151.  Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Saturday morning, January 23, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church.   Due to Sanctuary COVID occupancy restrictions, the number of people attending Memorial Service at 12:00 PM will be limited in number and by invitation.  The family asks that:

   - Those who are not able to attend the Memorial Service would attend the first hour of the Visitation
