Obituary of Lawrence F. Sbei

Lawrence F. Sbei, Sr. of Audubon, PA passed away on Sunday February 28, 2016, with his family by his side, at Einstein Montgomery Medical Center in East Norriton Pa. He was 84. A son of the late Albert and Rose (D'Allessandro) Sbei Jr., he was born in Downingtown, Pa. on August 29, 1931. He was the loving husband of 59 years of Florence "Yonnie" (McKeon) Sbei. He was raised on Chestnut Street in the Mogeetown section of Blackhorse near the East end of Norristown, PA. He attended Norristown Area schools. He served in the US Army in Fort Collins, Colorado in the early 1950's. Lawrence worked most of his life with Flemming Foods, retiring in 1996 He was a devoted member of St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic Church in Audubon, Pa. He spent most of his free time helping others with building projects, including houses and even bridges. He could and would fix anything. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends Besides his wife, he is survived by: Son: Lawrence F. Sbei Jr. Daughter: Andrea (Jay) Constantine Son: Douglass (Jenny) Sbei Son: Jonathan (Karen) Sbei Sister: Anna Fusco Half Brother: Querino "Woody" Sbei Also Survived 13 Grandchildren And One Great Grandson He was Predeceased by his Brothers: Albert III & John Sbei And he was predeceased by his Half Sisters: Frances Fiore & Betty Perella A Funeral Mass for Lawrence will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila R.C. Parish 1260 South Trooper Road, Norristown, Pa Fr. Gus Puleo will be officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday Evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA & Thursday morning from 9:00AM to 9:50 AM at the Church.
