Obituary of Francis J. Maziarz

Francis ("Frank") J. Maziarz, 85, of Norristown, PA, formerly of East Norriton, PA for 50 years, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021. 

He was born in Conshohocken, PA on December 31, 1935, the son of the late Frank Stanley and the late Mary (Kosek) Maziarz. He graduated from Saint Matthews High School, Conshohocken, PA. He worked at SPX Corporation for over 20 years, then moved to Suburban General Hospital, from where he retired.  After retirement, he worked at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, as an aid for children with special needs for several years.

Frank married Gloria S. (Borowik) Maziarz, in 1957.  He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria, his daughter and son-in-law, Maria (Maziarz) and Jeffrey W. Smith, his daughter Noel Maziarz,  son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Linda (Nave) Maziarz, son and daughter-in-law Erec and Patricia (Giatris) Maziarz, daughter and son-in-law Holly (Maziarz) and Michael DiCarlo, and son and daughter-in-law Jeremy and Mary Ann (Florentino) Maziarz, 17 surviving grandchildren, one pre-deceased grandson, and 20 great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister Barbara (Maziarz) Cairnes.

He was a member of St. Titus RC Church of East Norriton, Pa. Frank was an avid gardener, and was very proud of his flowers and shrubs.  He was very fond of red carnations and gardenia. He was fond of animals, particularly dachshunds, and his favorite cat, a rescue, who adored him. 

The Visitation will be held on Friday, April 09, 2021 at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, at Saint Titus RC Church, East Norriton, PA. 

Burial will be private, for immediate family only.
