Obituary of Kenneth R. Trankle, Sr.

Kenneth R. Trankle, Sr., age 77, of Norristown, PA passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021.

He was born in Norristown, PA on October 5, 1943, the son of the late Hanson  A. and Helen (Ryan) Trankle.

He was a lifelong Norristown resident and member of Olivet Schwenkfelder UCC and Norristown Lodge 620 F & AM.  He enjoyed darts, golf and anything automotive.  He also enjoyed time spent taking care of his yard.  

He was the husband of the late Paulette (Guss) Trankle who passed on November 3, 2020.  

Survivors include his son, Kenneth R. Trankle, Jr. of Norristown; two daughters, Kimberly (& Walter) Schank and Kerrin (& Steve) Haschak, both of Norristown; sister, Ruthie (& Joseph) DeLuca of East Norriton; brother, James Trankle of Norristown; four grandchildren, Walter E. Schank, III, Melissa Schank, Jordan Haschak, and Steven Haschak; and one great granddaughter, Rose Evelyn Schank.  

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.  

Interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.  

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Norriton Square Nursing Home, 1700 Pine Street, Norristown, PA 19401.
