Obituary of Paul W. Sabol

Paul W. Sabol, Sr. 89, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on Thursday April 21, 2016. He was born in Minersville, PA on July 5, 1926. Mr. Sabol has lived in Blue Bell, Pa since 1988, former longtime resident of Chestnut Hill, Pa and he was born and raised in Minersville, Pa. He was a member of St. Helena RC Church of Blue Bell, Pa. He retired in 1993 after 21 years with Electro-Nite Co. and its successor, Heraeus Electro-Nite Co. as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Sabol graduated from Minersville High School in 1944, and earned his degree in Commerce and Finance from Pennsylvania State University in 1950. He received an M.B.A. Degree from Drexel University in 1972. Mr. Sabol was a member of State and National Certified Public Accountants Institute, The Finance Executives Institute, Institute of Management Accountants, The Navy League and American Legion Post #544. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in World War II and Korean War, where he received American Theater Ribbon, Victory Medal, & Pacific Theater Ribbon. Paul also helped establish the Shade Tree Commission for Whitpain Township and served as its chair. Son of the late - Michael P. & Anastasia ( Marazas ) Sabol. Beloved husband of the Late – Anna M. (Wynosky) Sabol. Survivors include his Daughter: Anne (& John ) Mc Donnell Plymouth Twp. PA Daughter: Dr. Susan Sabol East Norriton PA Son: Paul (& Pamela ) Sabol, Jr. Blue Bell PA Son: Edward (& Deborah ) Sabol Alabaster AL Daughter: Dr. Mary Elizabeth (& Fred Conner) Sabol Blue Bell, Pa Also survived by 8 Grandchildren and Several Nieces & Nephews. Along with his wife and parents Paul was preceded in death by a sister Irma Potts and brother Leonard P. Sabol. His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:30 AM from the St. Helena RC Church 1489 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, Pa 19422. Friends may call on Friday Morning from 9:30 to 10:20 AM at the Church. Interment will take place in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
