Dolores R. Boldi  

Dolores Rose Boldi, “MomMom” 90, of Trappe, PA passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

Dolores was born in Narberth, PA on April 27, 1932, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Rose (Massaro) Boldi. Dolores spent her childhood and raised her 3 daughters in Narberth’s “little Italy” and her and her family were a fixture on Iona Ave and in town. Dolores moved to Trappe, Pa 15 years ago and became a member of St. Eleanor's RC Church of Collegeville, Pa which she adored. 

Dolores worked in several capacities including time at Bell Telephone, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Delaware County Intermediate Unit and Lower Merion School school district driving the school bus and training drivers, always with a smile.

Dolores greatest joy was spending time with her family, including 3 daughters, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Dolores was a wonderful cook and host, hosting countless birthday parties, Sunday dinners and everything in between. She made sure that family and friends never went home hungry and her delicious meals made with love (and butter) kept them coming back for more. It’s been said her Gumbo is the best in all of Montgomery County. Dolores was an excellent stitcher and seamstress, avid reader, wonderful listener and she enjoyed music, ice skating, dancing and family parties.

Dolores now joins her parents and her sister Lena (& Frank) Boldi Tiburzio in Heaven. 

She is missed and loved by her surviving family members, including Daughter Donna (& Leon) Weaver of Trappe, Pa, Daughter Pam Owsik of Narberth, Pa, Daughter Roz (& Robert Coffman) Mawhinney of Palm Coast, Fl, Sister Shirley (&Tom) Lynn of Woodstown, NJ, also survived by her grandchildren Frank Jackson, Michelle (& Chris) Scharff, Eddie (& Nina) Owsik and Jason Weaver, and her Great Grandchildren Madalyn Jackson, Max Scharff, Cole Scharff, Ellia Scharff and Maeve Li Owsik.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Dolores on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM from St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA.

Friends may call on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.

Interment will be at a later date in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, Pa.
