Obituary of Daniel J. McGinley, Sr.

Daniel J. McGinley  

 Daniel J. McGinley, 80, of Conshohocken, PA passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, with his family by his side. 

He was born in Bryn Mawr, Pa on May 15, 1942, the son of the late Peter and Sarah (McLaughlin) McGinley.

Dan has been living in Lafayette Hill formerly of Consshohocken, Pa.

Mr. McGinley was a former Mayor of Conshohocken. 

He worked as a Operating Engineer with Local 542 for over 40 years.

He was the husband of Late - Marie (Brandt) McGinley and Elaine (Nietupski) McGinley

Survivors include, Daughter Deborah (& Neil Giblin) McGinley of Downingtown, Pa, Son Daniel McGinley of Ponte Verde, FL, Daughter Rita (& Keith) D'Amore of Blue Bell, Pa, Daughter Maureen (& Raymond) Trainor of Conshohocken, Pa, Son John "Jack" (& Tracey) McGinley of Lower Providence, Pa, Daughter Julie (& Thomas) Marshall of Plymouth Meeting, Pa,  Brother Jack McGinley of Malvern, Pa, Also survived by 17 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Along with his wives and parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Eleanor McGinley and sister Mary Miller and brothers Peter McGinley and Corneilus McGinley.

There will be a viewing on Sunday October 9, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Monday Morning October 10, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428.

His service will be on Monday October 10, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
