Obituary of Delores K. Dutill

Delores K. Dutill, “Dee”, age 89, of Audubon, PA passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

She was born in Dillsburg, PA on November 11, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Smith) Knaub.

Dee lived most of her life in Plymouth Meeting, PA before moving to Shannondell at Valley Forge, where she has resided for 12 years.  She was a faithful member of Messiah United Methodist Church of Lafayette Hill and a former member of Conshohocken United Methodist Church.  Prior to her retirement, Dee had a long career as an Elementary School Teacher for the Colonial School District.  She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star.  

She was the wife of the late Charles R. "Bud" Dutill.

She is survived by two sons, Chuck (Pam) Dutill of West Chester and Keith (Lora) Dutill of Phoenixville; seven grandchildren, Josh (& Samantha) Dutill, Tim (& Kathleen) Dutill, Emily Tourjee, Valerie (& Joe) Muckle, Katelin (& Jon) Haahr, Megan (& Michael) Staub, and Julia Dutill; and nine great grandchildren, Abigail, Sarah, Bethany, Addie, Haley, Jayden, Kayla, Daniel and Summer. 

Along with her husband and parents, Dee was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Knaub, John Knaub, Margaret Shoffner, Inez Knaub and Charles Knaub. 

Her Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 2:30 PM from Messiah United Methodist Church, 527 W. Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Church. A reception at the church will follow.
