James H. "Jimmy" Trankle, Sr.
James H. "Jimmy" Trankle, Sr., 83, of West Norriton, PA passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
He was born in Swedeland, Pennsylvania on May 26, 1939, the son of the late Hanson A. and the late Helen (Ryan) Trankle.
James has been living in West Norriton, Pa for the last 5 years with his daughter, Jodi, and her family. He is formerly of Philadelphia, Norristown, Skippack and Harleysville, Pa
He was born and raised in Swedeland, Pa.
He worked as an Under Ground Lineman with Peco. James was an all around athlete and most enjoyed playing golf. He was a member of Norristown Maenner-Chor Club.
Survivors include Daughter Jodi Leigh (& Donald) Hoffman of West Norriton, Pa, Step Daughter Tracey Zaffino (Sal) and her family Christian and Maddy of Richboro, Pa, Sister Ruth DeLuca (Joe) of East Norriton, Pa. He is also survived by his grandchildren Josh, Donald James "DJ" (Alex), Cory James, Rachel Sells (Austin), Kylie, Olivia and great grand child Jackson. There are many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sons James H. Trankle, Jr. and John W. Trankle, his brother Kenneth R. Trankle (Paullette), and his long time companion Catherine Fair.
His service and Interment will be private.
